“I am Alice, founder of Great British Blooms (GBB). I am also the florist who be will be carefully planning and creating all GBB products and services.
Great British Blooms began as a maternity leave project. I have always loved flowers and have really enjoyed evolving this small business over the last 7 years.
As an experienced primary school teacher, I love to combine my passion for sustainable floristry, with my profession of teaching. I do this by offering seasonal workshops and retreat days throughout the year. I also create beautiful fresh and everlasting flower arrangements, to suit all occasions.
When I trained as a florist 10 years ago, I was concerned with how much plastic was involved. A few years later, I was keen to ensure my business was as sustainable and planet friendly as possible.
Therefore, GBB prides itself in sourcing flowers as locally as possible and always ensures resources are plastic-free, biodegradable or reusable."
